Katya Jenson

Katya Jenson is an experienced news editor currently working at Al-Monitor since January 2012, specializing in translating news from the Middle East. Jenson has a robust freelance career as an editor and translator, providing editorial consulting to various writers, academics, publishing houses, and news outlets since 2006. Prior to these roles, Jenson served as the Editorial and Rights Coordinator at Peachtree Publishers, where responsibilities included manuscript evaluation and tracking subrights. Academic experience includes serving as a graduate assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where Jenson instructed courses in linguistics and contributed to the Tokelauan Dictionary Project.
