Supervising Attorney, Border Rights Project at Al Otro Lado

Hollie Webb is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in immigration and human rights law. Currently serving as the Supervising Attorney for the Border Rights Project at Al Otro Lado since November 2020, Hollie has progressed through various roles including Lead Attorney and Staff Attorney. Prior to this, Hollie held a temporary position as an Associate at Fragomen and worked as an Associate Attorney and Law Clerk at MalitzLaw, Inc. In earlier roles, Hollie gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk at Clarke Johnston Thorp & Rice and a Student Attorney at the Immigrant Rights Clinic at Washington and Lee University. Additional research and intern roles include contributions to the Women's Legal Aid Centre and the UNDP, with a focus on human rights and anti-corruption efforts. Hollie holds a Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature and Studio Art from The University of Alabama.

Al Otro Lado provides holistic legal and humanitarian support to indigent refugees, deportees, separated families, and other migrants in the US and Tijuana through a multidisciplinary, client-centered, harm reduction-based practice. We provide direct, free, legal services on both sides of the US-Mexico border and beyond. We engage in zealous individual representation, medical-legal partnerships, and impact litigation to protect the rights of immigrants and asylum-seekers.
