Shadab Ashfaq

Shadab Ashfaq, CFA, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Equity Research at Al Ramz PJSC since July 2022, after holding the same title at HSBC from September 2018 to July 2022, where coverage focused on the European aviation sector and aviation infrastructure. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Associate in Investment Banking at UBS, contributing to M&A projects across the US, EMEA, and APAC. Shadab also worked at Axis Bank as Deputy Manager, managing bank guarantees and analyzing SME financial needs, and completed a summer internship at New Holland Fiat India Pvt. Ltd., where performance reports were analyzed to identify dealer underperformance. Earlier, Shadab was a Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra. Educationally, Shadab holds a PGDM in Finance and Marketing from the International Management Institute and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from the Global Institute of Technology.
