Anwar Murad

Anwar Murad has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Deputy Group CEO of Al-Salam Bank in Bahrain since June 2006, where additional responsibilities include EVP and Head of Private Banking. Prior to this role, Anwar held the position of Head of Private Banking at BankMuscat Bahrain from 2002 to 2006. Anwar's earlier career includes serving as Regional Market Risk Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from 1998 to 2002 and as Assistant Manager at Citibank Bahrain from 1994 to 1998. Anwar Murad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain between 1989 and 1994.
