Shareen Irshad

Shareen Irshad began their work experience as an Intern at Karachi Tools, Dies & Moulds Centre in 2013. Shareen then joined WorkForce Software in 2014 as an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer. In 2016, they worked as a CRM Assistant at Art Dubai. In 2017, Shareen volunteered at Dubai Cares and also started working at Al Salam Private School & Nursery as a Teaching Assistant. Shareen later took on roles as a Computer Science /ICT Teacher and Lead Practitioner at the same school. Currently, Shareen holds the position of Head of Computing at Al Salam Private School & Nursery.

Shareen Irshad has a diverse education background. Shareen obtained a Professional Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning(PgCTL) from Pedagogical Transformations in 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from SZABIST Dubai, completing it in 2018. Shareen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Software Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, which they earned between 2011 and 2014. Shareen also completed their A levels in science at the British International School in 2010 and their O levels in science at The Westminster School between 1995 and 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Shareen has obtained several certifications to enhance their teaching skills. In 2023, they became a STEM.org Certified™ Master Trainer through STEM.org | Educational Research. In 2021, they received Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services. In 2020, Shareen became a Google Certified Educator Level 2, a Nearpod Certified Educator, and a Screencastify Genius. In 2019, they achieved Google Certified Educator Level 1 certification. Shareen also holds an IELTS certification from the British Council, obtained in 2014.
