Bukhary Essam

Bukhary Essam, Dr. د. عصام بخاري, currently serves as the CEO of Manga Productions, a subsidiary of MiSK Foundation, focusing on animations, comics, video games, and human capital development since March 2017. In addition, Bukhary is a Strategy Committee Member at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and has been involved as a jury member for the WIPO Global Awards since April 2024. Bukhary also holds the position of General Manager and Editor in Chief at Manga Alarabia and serves as Co-Chairman of the Executive Committee at the Mohammed bin Salman Center for Future Science and Technology. With extensive experience, Bukhary has contributed as Chief Advisor to the Chairman at SNK Corporation and a board member for various organizations, including the General Culture Authority. Bukhary's academic background includes a Ph.D. in International Studies from Waseda University and a Visiting Researcher stint at The University of Tokyo, among other qualifications.
