Gennaro joined ALA in 2017 as CEO and he is a Board member of ALA and its controlled companies.
In his previous experience at Atitech Manufacturing Gennaro covered the role of Director of Operations.
Previously, Gennaro served for 5 years – with different roles – at Alenia Aermacchi (today Leonardo Company), where he was appointed Chief Procurement & Supply Chain Officer and Senior Advisor to the CEO.
Before he covered the role of CEO and COO at Alenia Aeronavali (Finmeccanica Group) for 4 years.
Gennaro spent more than 11 years working at the Alitalia Group, from which he left as CEO of Alitalia Maintenance Systems.
Gennaro spent 14 years in the Finmeccanica Company (today Leonardo Company) covering multiple roles of increasing responsibilities after having graduated at the Federico II University of Naples in Italy, where he got a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Gennaro was honored with the title of Maestro del Lavoro in 2009 by the President of the Italian Republic and has been an Honorary Member of the “Italian Flight Safety Committee” since 2001.
During his career, Gennaro worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Aerospace Engineering faculty of the Federico II University (teaching “Aircraft and Engine Maintenance”) and at the Finmeccanica “faculty” – as a Procurement & Supply Chain expert.
