Ms. Awilda is an experienced professional with a diverse background in case management, executive assistance, and student counseling. Currently serving as a Relief Case Manager at Alabama Baptist Children's Homes & Family Ministries since September 2016, Ms. Awilda supports mothers and children in a transitional housing program by facilitating access to community services and counseling. Concurrently, Ms. Awilda has held the role of Executive Assistant at Providence Christian Ministries since June 2015, where responsibilities include organizing conferences and ministry engagements for leadership. Prior experience includes roles as a Student Counselor II at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and as a Student Services Assistant Senior. Ms. Awilda holds a Master of Arts in Religion with a focus on Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, a Master of Arts in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from The University of Alabama, and a Bachelor's degree from Talladega College.
