Ashley Megelin is a seasoned microbiologist with extensive experience in public health and environmental quality assurance. Currently serving as a Microbiologist Supervisor at the Alabama Department of Public Health since November 2012, Ashley oversees internal audits to ensure compliance with CLIA regulations and conducts training workshops for county health department nurses. Previously, a Quality Assurance Biologist at Cobb County Water System, Ashley performed QA/QC and wastewater testing. Earlier roles include Biologist/Chemist at TTL, Inc., where Ashley successfully established an analytical lab and increased sample testing volume, as well as an Environmental Laboratory Technician involved in various laboratory tests. Ashley began a career in veterinary support at May Veterinary Clinic North as a Floater/Veterinary Technician. Ashley holds a degree in Zoology with a focus on Pre-Veterinary Studies from Auburn University.
