Danita Crear

Danita Crear, DrPH, is currently the Director of Maternal & Child Health Epidemiology at the Alabama Department of Public Health. Danita also serves as the Director of HIV/AIDS Surveillance within the same department, overseeing the monitoring and reporting of HIV incidence and prevalence statewide. With a background in Public Health, Danita has established screening and referral networks, developed databases for data analysis, and coordinated public health research studies. Danita's expertise lies in program evaluation, data management, and public health policy analysis to improve maternal and child health outcomes in Alabama.
