Jamie Gray is an experienced professional in emergency medical services and education, currently serving as the State EMS Director for the Alabama Department of Public Health since June 2016, with previous roles as Acting State EMS Director and Deputy Director of the Alabama Office of EMS. As the owner and instructor at Rescue First Medical Instruction since January 2014, Jamie offers certified training in several areas, including Heartsaver CPR and Prehospital Trauma Life Support. In addition, Jamie holds the position of Medic for the National Disaster Medical System and has served as a Captain for Elmore Fire and Rescue since 1998. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Criminalistics and Criminal Science from Troy University along with multiple associate degrees and certifications in emergency medical technology from H Councill Trenholm State Technical College.
