Wade Simmons

Wade Simmons is an accomplished educator and emergency services professional with extensive experience in various roles in the field. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards & Education Commission, Wade specializes in HazMat/WMD instruction, emergency response, and program development. In addition, Wade holds positions as an EMS Instructor at Jefferson State Community College and Emergency Services Instructor at Alabaster City School District, where Wade developed the Thompson EMS program and Emergency Services Program to promote careers in emergency services among high school students. Wade's background includes firefighting and paramedic duties at Pelham Fire Department and Birmingham Fire and Rescue, alongside project management experience at United States Environmental Services. Wade holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Columbia Southern University and several degrees from Jefferson State Community College in Emergency Medical Services and Fire Science.
