Matt-Sale Howell is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and education. Currently serving as a STEM Trainer at the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind since October 2020, Howell previously held the position of Automotive Technology Teacher at the North Carolina School for the Deaf from August 2018 to October 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Quality Manager at Detroit Speed, Inc., overseeing automotive product quality and developing management systems, and maintaining ISO 9001:2008 certifications at MSI Defense Solutions, LLC and JRi Shocks. As a Team Engineer for Darrell Wallace Jr. Racing, Howell contributed to race car preparation and engineering. Howell’s educational qualifications include multiple degrees in Mechatronic Engineering and a Master of Science in Deaf Education from Rochester Institute of Technology.
