Leonard Harvill

Leonard Harvill is an experienced law enforcement professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Alabama State Trooper since June 2019 at the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, responsibilities include enforcing traffic and criminal laws, investigating motor vehicle crashes, and providing court testimony. Prior to this role, Leonard held positions as Patrol Lieutenant and Patrol Sergeant at Jasper Police Department from September 2005 to May 2019, overseeing the Patrol Division and supervising patrolmen. Earlier experience includes serving as a Security Officer for Alabama Power Company, Patrolman at Cordova Police Department, and Patrolman at Sipsey Police Department. Leonard began a career in emergency medical services as an EMT-I with American Medical Response. Educational qualifications include Law Enforcement Certification from the Alabama Criminal Justice Academy and a diploma from Dora High School.
