Abby Smith

Abby Smith has demonstrated a strong background in customer service and organizational skills throughout a diverse career. Currently serving as a Spine Surgeon Scheduler at Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic, P.C. since April 2020, Abby effectively manages scheduling and patient interactions. Previous experience includes a role as Hardlines Senior Team Lead at Academy Sports + Outdoors from June 2011 to July 2017, overseeing multiple departments and prioritizing exceptional customer service. Earlier positions include Fishing/Hunting Team Lead and Cashier Team Lead, where responsibilities involved training associates and managing cashier operations. Abby’s career began as a Receptionist at the University of South Alabama Mitchell Center, where responsibilities included managing phone inquiries and event support. Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Alabama, completed in 2015.
