Nikole Lee is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the maritime and defense industries. Currently serving as Business Development Manager at Alabama Shipyard LLC since November 2021, Nikole previously held multiple roles at Austal from December 2016 to November 2021, including Business Development Manager for Autonomous & Unmanned Systems and Business Development Operations Coordinator. Nikole's career also includes experience as Assistant Operations Manager at APM Terminals and Ship Superintendent at BAE Systems, as well as a role as Quality Assurance Specialist at Kyocera Communications, Inc. Nikole holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Logistics from California State University Maritime Academy, obtained in 2010.

Alabama Shipyard
The facility was initially established in 1916. It was one of the original nine emergency yards funded by the U.S. Maritime Commission during WWII, becoming one of the largest employers in Southern Alabama while producing Liberty Ships and T-2 Tankers for the war effort. Over the years the shipyard has employed thousands of people, including Jimmy Buffet, his dad JD Buffet, and Hank Williams Senior. Alabama Shipyard is a fully-equipped facility and a fundamental part of Mobile’s history. Our team is dedicated to upholding Mobile's longstanding tradition of first-class service on the Gulf Coast.
