Terry Gilbreath has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Terry started their career in 1983 as a Captain in the U.S. Coast Guard, where they served for 25 years until 2008. During their time in the Coast Guard, Terry gained valuable leadership and management skills. In 2008, they joined the Alabama State Port Authority as the Harbormaster and Facility Security Officer, a position they currently hold. Terry's expertise in port operations and security is a valuable asset to the company.

Terry Gilbreath has a strong educational background, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the US Coast Guard Academy earned between 1979 and 1983. In addition, Terry pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 1987 to 1989.
