Tom Pirro

Tom Pirro has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on sales and business development. From 2020 onwards, they worked as the Global Head of Sales for Velocity FinCrime Solutions Suite, where they helped financial institutions comply with regulatory requirements using artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. Prior to that, Tom held various roles, including Managing Director of Business Development at The Alacer Group, Senior Director of Sales at Guardian Analytics (now NICE Actimize), and Account Executive at NICE Actimize. Tom also has experience in sales leadership and management roles at The Kreller Group, Hiperos, and The Red Flag Group. Tom's career also includes strategic account management at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services and consulting for the AML financial services industry at Pirro Associates. Overall, they bring over 20 years of experience in consultative sales and has a strong background in helping financial institutions achieve compliance while reducing risk.

Tom Pirro obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Rider University from 1975 to 1980. Tom also holds a certification as Compliance Certified from the Governance, Risk and Compliance Institute, obtained in 2013.
