Alexander Lee

Alexander Lee has extensive work experience in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. Alexander has held various positions over the years, starting with their role as a Student Research Assistant at Cal State East Bay Function Genomics Lab in 2004.

From 2005 to 2010, Alexander worked as a Scientist at Roche and BIOMERIEUX, where they conducted research on culturing cells, maintaining strain libraries, and performing multiplex assays.

In 2010, they worked as a Contract Scientist II at Siemens Healthcare, where they focused on culturing gram-negative cells and optimizing DNA extraction protocols.

From 2011 to 2016, Alexander worked as a Research Associate at Cepheid, assisting in the development of infectious disease multiplex assays on the GeneXpert platform. Alexander also conducted qPCR reactions, grew strains, and performed risk-analysis experiments.

Alexander Lee began their education in 1998 at UC DAVIS, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2003. Afterward, they attended Cal State U, East Bay from 2004 to 2005, where they obtained a Certificate in Biotechnology. In addition to these degrees, Alexander also holds a California Biotechnology Post Bac. certificate, which was obtained from Cal State Hayward, although the specific month and year of its obtention are not provided.
