Alissa Briggs O’Connor

Alissa Briggs O'Connor has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Alissa is currently working as an Associate Scientist II at Alamar Biosciences, Inc., starting from December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Scientist at Kenjockety Biotechnology from July 2017 to October 2021. Before that, they held the position of Senior Research Associate at Adicet Bio, Inc from November 2016 to July 2017. Alissa also worked as a Research Associate (Contract) at Genentech from February 2016 to November 2016, where they focused on isolating novel antibodies for therapeutic drug development using phage display technology. Their earliest work experience was as a Research Associate II at Seminis Vegetable Seeds (Monsanto) from December 2004 to January 2016. In this role, they performed various laboratory techniques and also led and participated in Environment, Safety, and Health programs.

Alissa Briggs O’Connor received their degree in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis in 2003.
