Andrei Komarov

Andrei Komarov has extensive experience in the field of research and scientific work. Andrei began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic in 2006, where they conducted cell-based small-molecule drug screens and developed functional screens with Genetic Suppressor Elements.

In 2007, Andrei joined the Roswell Park Cancer Institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow and contributed to the development of drug discovery programs, including Radiation Protectors and Anti-aging senolytic Drugs.

Andrei then worked at Cellecta, Inc. from 2008 to 2012, first as a Research Scientist I and later as a Senior Research Scientist and Project Manager. At Cellecta, Andrei played a key role in developing a new HTS method for isolating BioActive Secreted Peptides (BASP) and conducted genome-wide viability screens using shRNA libraries.

From 2008 to 2016, Andrei also served as a Scientific Consultant at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, where they applied their knowledge of NGS, drug target discovery, and bioassay design to several drug discovery programs.

In 2017, Andrei joined Argentys Informatics LLC as a Senior Research Scientist and worked there until 2019.

Andrei then worked at VirIntel, LLC in 2020 as a Senior Research Scientist before joining Endogen Inc in the same year. At Endogen, Andrei established immunological diagnostic assays for early cancer biomarkers and developed NGS-based diagnostic assays for early detection of cancer.

Most recently, Andrei joined Alamar Biosciences, Inc. in 2022 as a Senior Research Scientist.
