Vivian Wu, Ph.D, MBA has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Vivian is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Alameda County Fairgrounds & Event Center. Previously, they worked as a Corporate Controller (Consultant) for NovaBay Pharmaceuticals and DERMAdoctor. In addition, they have held positions such as Vice President of Finance at VICI, Controller at Title Nine, and Instructor in the Finance Master Program at St. Marys College. Prior to these roles, they worked at Kaiser Permanente and Robert Talbott Inc as part of their finance teams. Vivian also has experience as a VP of Finance, HR, and IT at Shane Hunter Inc subsidiary of Hampshire and as a Controller at Royal Wolf Portable Container. Before that, they served as a Senior Financial Operations Manager at Macy's West. Overall, Vivian Wu has a strong background in finance and a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.
Vivian Wu, Ph.D, MBA obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Vivian then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from San Francisco State University, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, between 2004 and 2006. Later, from 2011 to 2020, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Conflict Analysis and Resolution with a Concentration in Organizational Conflicts from Nova Southeastern University.

The Alameda County Agricultural Fair Association is 501(c)3 non-profit that manages the Alameda County Fairgrounds on behalf of the County of Alameda. The Mission of the Alameda County Agricultural Fair Association is to ensure the long term viability of the Alameda County Fairgrounds, present an exceptional Annual Fair which celebrates the heritage and diversity of Alameda County, and provide year-round usage opportunities for the facility. We Celebrate Our Community! The Fairgrounds serves our community as an emergency facility and resource center. Fairgrounds are often the heartbeats of our communities, acting as a gathering place in good times and in times of crisis. Open to all members of our community.
