Remy Goldsmith

Remy Goldsmith serves as the Assistant Director of Policy and Government Affairs at the Alameda County Transportation Commission, leading strategic communications, media relations, and community outreach since February 2023. Previously, Remy held the position of Senior Officer for Special Initiatives and Projects at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where significant achievements included managing a grantmaking portfolio focused on equity, implementing community outreach strategies, and producing regional economic reports. Additional experience includes serving as District Director for Congressman Mark DeSaulnier, where operational leadership and community engagement were paramount, and as Director of Community and Media Relations at Doctors Medical Center - San Pablo, overseeing public relations and volunteer services. Remy began a career in public service as a Field Representative for Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher and was named a Great Valley Fellow, honing leadership skills in California's Central Valley. Remy holds a JD from the University of California, Davis - School of Law, and a B.A. in Anthropology and French Studies from UCLA.
