Amy Reeve, SPHR, serves as the Human Resources and Risk Manager for Alameda County Water District, overseeing a comprehensive suite of HR services for the organization. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Human Resources for the City of Santa Rosa, where Amy managed HR functions for a workforce of approximately 1,300, and as Director of Human Resources and Risk Management for the City of Petaluma, focusing on employee relations and compliance. Previous positions also include Human Resources Manager for the City of Coronado and Town of Windsor, where Amy established foundational HR departments and policies. Early career experience as a Human Resources Generalist at Brayton Purcell LLP and Regional Marketing Manager at World Events Sports Marketing contributed to a robust skill set in HR management and compliance. Amy holds a Master’s degree in Organization Development and Human Resources from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from California State University-Sacramento.

The Alameda County Water District is a California water utility that supplies safe drinking water to the residents and businesses of Fremont, Newark and Union City. Founded in 1914, ACWD has proudly served the community for over 100 years, and we currently serve more than 351,000 people with a staff of 230 dedicated employees. Providing customers with a reliable supply of high quality water at reasonable price is our mission --- one we strive to uphold while protecting the health and safety of the communities we serve.
