Jackie McCloud is an experienced professional in environmental sustainability and water management, currently serving as Special Assistant to the General Manager at Alameda County Water District since October 2024. Prior to this role, Jackie managed the Environmental Sustainability Division for the City of Watsonville from January 2017 to October 2024, overseeing crucial stormwater programs and leading significant projects such as the Pajaro River Levee project. With a strong background in managing environmental grants and liaising with state legislators, Jackie formerly held various positions within the City of Watsonville, including Environmental Projects Manager and Water Quality Chemist. Additionally, Jackie has contributed to the California Water Environment Association in several leadership roles and has been involved in educational initiatives through Gavilan College and UC Santa Cruz. Jackie holds a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master's degree in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School, along with a Certificate in Water Innovation Leadership Development from Duke University.
