Sophy Wong

Sophy Wong, MD, is a seasoned medical professional specializing in HIV care and community health. Since July 2011, Sophy has served as a Strategic Advisor and Medical Director for HIV ACCESS at Alameda Health Consortium, focusing on leadership and quality management in HIV services, especially for underserved populations. Sophy is also a Clinical Advisor for Get East Bay Tested!, facilitating universal HIV and hepatitis C screening in community health centers. In addition, Sophy holds positions as a Strategic Advisor and Director at East Bay Getting to Zero, Teaching Faculty and Medical Director at the Bay Area & North Coast AIDS Education and Training Center, and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF. Sophy’s experience includes international work in China with the Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation and a career in freelance graphic design with a focus on health education. Educational credentials include an MD from Brown Medical School and specialized training in Internal Medicine and HIV Medicine from UCSF.
