Arleen Gomez has a diverse range of work experience spanning several positions and industries. Arleen is currently the Director of Organizational Learning & Effectiveness at Alameda Health System, where they oversee the Leadership Development and Training team. Arleen is responsible for developing strategic direction, implementing executive leadership development programs, and organizing employee training.
Arleen also operates their own coaching and consulting business called www.arleengomez.com, where they serve as an Executive, Leadership, and Career Coach. Their role entails helping professionals build effective networks and overcome obstacles to achieve success and fulfillment.
In addition, Arleen was a member of the Forbes Coaches Council from May 2019 to July 2020. This invitation-only organization connects and empowers leading business and career coaches.
Prior to their current roles, Arleen held positions at Kaiser Permanente. Arleen worked as the Director of National Service Quality, where they facilitated planning and played a key role in goal-setting for quality and service programs. Arleen also served as the Director of Leadership Development and Hospital Safety Leader, spearheading leadership programs and driving improvements in safety and environmental metrics.
Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Arleen served as a Vendor Liaison at The EC Company, where they managed product fulfillment operations and vendor performance.
Arleen holds a BBA and MEd, and they are an ICF PCC certified coach.
Arleen Gomez holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Organizational Psychology & Development from the University of California, Berkeley. Arleen also obtained a Master of Education (M Ed) in Instructional Technology from the same institution.
In 2017, Arleen completed the Certified Professional Co-Active Coach program at Coaches Training Institute. This program specialized in Executive, Corporate, Career, and Whole Life Coaching.
Arleen has also earned several additional certifications. In November 2017, they obtained the CPCC (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach) certification from Coaches Training Institute. In July 2018, they became an ACC (Associate Certified Coach) through the International Coach Federation. Arleen achieved the MBTI Certified Practitioner certification from The Myers & Briggs Foundation in February 2021. Most recently, in January 2022, Arleen obtained the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from the International Coaching Federation.
