Irina Williams MD MHA has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Irina began their career at the Henry Ford Health System as a Resident Physician in Anesthesiology from 2010 to 2014. Irina then joined the University of California, San Francisco as a Pain Medicine Fellow from 2014 to 2015.
Subsequently, Dr. Williams worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Physician from 2015 to 2018. During this time, they gained valuable experience in the healthcare industry.
Currently, Dr. Williams is employed at Alameda Health System. Irina has held multiple roles, including Medical Director of the Pain Medicine Clinic from 2018 to 2019, Chief of Medical Staff from 2021 to 2023, and Chief of the Pain Medicine Division since 2019. Irina has also served as the Ambulatory Specialty Physician Lead from 2021 to 2023.
Dr. Williams is an accomplished medical professional with a focus on pain medicine. Irina has held leadership positions and continues to contribute to the field through their work at Alameda Health System.
Irina Williams MD MHA completed their education in two stages. From 2002 to 2008, they attended Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine. Following that, they enrolled at Cornell University from 2020 to 2021 and earned a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. In addition to their education, Irina Williams also holds several certifications, including Board Certification in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine from The American Board of Anesthesiology, as well as a California Medical License from the Medical Board of California.
