Health Advocate at Alameda Health System

Natalie Musick has a diverse work experience history. Natalie started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Kaufer Lab in 2017, where they worked until March 2019. Following that, they served as a GIS Intern at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services from June 2019 to January 2020. In 2020, Natalie worked as a Behavioral Health Technician at Autism Learning Partners, implementing ABA-based autism treatments for clients aged 3 to 12. Natalie collaborated with a team of parents, mid-level supervisors, and BCBA to develop personalized plans and provided hands-on training to parents on ABA methods. From 2017 to 2020, Natalie also worked at Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley, as an ADR Lab Helper and as a Summer Camp Assistant. In 2021, they joined Alameda Health System as a Health Advocate, connecting at-risk patients to community resources to enhance their quality of life. Natalie researched and identified suitable resources for patients and collaborated with licensed social workers and community health workers to provide accurate and timely information. Additionally, in 2021, Natalie served as a Senior Registered Behavior Technician at The Autism Impact Circle, implementing ABA-based treatments for clients aged 3 to 9. Natalie worked closely with a team of parents and a BCBA to create personalized plans and provided parents with training on ABA methods.

Natalie Musick's education history includes several notable achievements. Natalie attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020 and obtained two degrees - a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geography and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular and Environmental Biology. In addition to their academic pursuits, Natalie also participated in various programs to expand their knowledge and skills. Natalie took part in the Contemporary Mexico Program in 2018, which involved a study abroad experience in Mexico City focusing on cross-cultural engagement. In 2019, Natalie participated in the Australia and Solomon Islands Community Health Program, where they undertook a WaSH Health Capstone Research Project.

Apart from their formal education, Natalie has obtained certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2015, they received their Certified Nursing Assistant certification from the California Department of Public Health. More recently, in October 2020, Natalie became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) after completing the necessary requirements set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
