Rosy Rojas

Rosy Rojas, MS, RD, is currently the System Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Alameda Health System, a position held since April 2018. Prior to this role, Rojas served as the Traveling RD Director of Food & Nutrition at Morrison Healthcare for six months. Rojas began professional training as a Dietetic Intern at Tufts Medical Center, where over 1,100 hours of supervised practice were completed, focusing on acute care and nutrition support. This experience included participation in clinical inpatient nutrition rotations at a renowned trauma center and the presentation of a case study on esophageal cancer nutrition management. Rojas's earlier roles include work as a Diet Aide and Education Assistant, with research experience in maternal and infant nutrition in Malawi. Rojas holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition from California Polytechnic State University, along with an educational experience in Seville, Spain.
