Lucinda Elizondo has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and industries. Lucinda began their career in 1990 as a Store Manager at The Kroger Company and later transitioned into the field of education, working as a Teacher at South San ISD from 1993 to 2008. Lucinda then joined San Antonio ISD, where they held various roles such as College Readiness Coach, Legislative and Parent Relations Facilitator, and English Language Arts and Reading Facilitator.
In 2017, Lucinda moved to Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) and worked as a Performance Analyst until 2018. At AACOG, they also served as a Human Resources Training and Performance Management Specialist starting in April 2018, before being promoted to the role of Human Resources Coordinator in January 2019. Lucinda then became the Human Resources & Employee Relations Manager at AACOG in August 2021.
Lucinda's most recent position is as the Human Resources Director at Alamo Area Council of Governments, a role they assumed in January 2023. Their extensive background in education and human resources demonstrates their expertise in both fields.
Lucinda Elizondo pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1987, they enrolled at St. Mary's University and completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a concentration in Human Resources in 1990. Following this, they attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Their field of study in both degrees focused on Business Administration and Management as well as Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, respectively.
