Jake Snyman

Jake Snyman is an experienced agronomist and golf course management professional, currently serving as the Director of Agronomy at Alamo City Golf Trail since March 2018. Previously, Snyman held leadership roles at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa as a 36 Hole Golf Course Superintendent, where responsibilities included managing renovations and operations of two notable golf courses. With a background that includes positions such as Golf Course Superintendent at Palmer Lakeside Golf Course and senior assistant roles at The UT Golf Club, Snyman has consistently demonstrated expertise in turf management and operational oversight. Academic credentials include a BSc in Agriculture from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, further qualifications in turfgrass management from the University of Georgia, and an NVQ in Amenity Horticulture.
