Deborah Whitis, MBA, PMP, has extensive experience in facilities management and project coordination, currently serving as the Interim Director of Facilities Business Support Operations at Alamo Colleges District since August 2013. In this role, Deborah is responsible for establishing the new Facilities Business Support Operations within the Facilities and Construction Management Division, focusing on finance, budgetary management, real estate compliance, data management, and asset management across five colleges. Previously, Deborah held various positions at Alamo Colleges including Director of Finance and Administration Operations and District Project Portfolio Manager, leading strategic initiative projects and ensuring resource management across the organization. Deborah's earlier experience also includes managerial roles at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and Brazos Higher Education, alongside a strong academic background with a Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change and multiple advanced project management and change management certifications.
