Rudy Lopez

Rudy Lopez is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Online Learning at Alamo Colleges District since August 2018. In this role, Rudy oversees the development and enhancement of online education programs, collaborates with faculty and academic leaders to ensure alignment with student success goals, and drives innovation through emerging technologies and inclusive pedagogy. Previous positions include Instructional Designer Team Lead and Online Learning Coordinator at Alamo Colleges, as well as an Instructional Systems Specialist with the United States Air Force, where responsibilities encompassed managing e-learning platforms and developing comprehensive training programs. Rudy holds a Doctorate in Education from St. Edward's University and advanced degrees in Instructional Design & Technology from West Texas A&M University. With a robust background in instructional design, educational technology, and program management, Rudy has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing online learning experiences and contributing to professional development in various educational settings.
