Samuel von Martens

Samuel von Martens serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Alandia Insurance since March 2016, overseeing investments and properties for both Alandia Insurance and Alandia Life Insurance. Prior to this role, Samuel held the same position at Alandia Pension Insurance, where strategic investment guidelines were updated. Previous experience includes operations management at Wassum, independent consulting, private equity and business development roles at eQ Asset Management, and founding Active Hedge Advisors. Earlier in the career, Samuel was the Managing Director of Neomarkka Plc, successfully leading the company through a full economic cycle, and worked as an investment professional at Norvestia plc. The professional journey began in various management and project management roles at the Pöyry Group. Samuel holds a Master’s degree in Energy Economics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and has furthered education at Technische Universität Wien.
