Jyri Suonpää

Jyri Suonpää is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Strategy and chief strategist at Ålandsbanken Abp since July 2014, where responsibilities include leading strategic market analyses and optimizing the Bank of Åland's asset allocation. Suonpää has also held roles such as Head of Fixed Income, CEO of Eufex Bank Plc, and Senior Partner at Aurator Asset Management Ltd., where extensive expertise in asset management, market analysis, and fixed income trading was developed. In addition to professional pursuits, Jyri Suonpää serves as a member of the Investment Advisory group for the University of Helsinki's board of directors. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Turku School of Economics and ongoing doctoral studies in Accounting and Finance at the University of Turku.
