Breana Teubner

Breana has 20+ years experience working in the consumer retail and technology industries. She has been an investor and active advisor to Alante Capital since 2019, joining the team in 2022. Breana most recently served as head of strategy & operations at a gaming marketplace, identifying white space opportunities for consumer technology companies within the Web 3.0 ecosystem.

Breana launched her career in Washington, DC guiding Fortune 30 companies on policy issues specific to the retail industry, including global trade. While working for Walmart, she sat with C-suite executives and board members as an advisor on the supplier sustainability index. As a management consultant at Booz & Company, she honed her expertise investigating the P&L and other financial statements to originate growth strategies; her corporate restructuring work focused on leveraging emerging technologies to meet shifting consumer preferences, leading initiatives at Walgreens, Avon, and Swarovski.

In 2016, Breana founded the Gap Inc innovation center to seed its $15 billion portfolio of brands with emerging, sustainable digital, material, and manufacturing products and developed a $500M portfolio of new products, shepherding development through stage-gates to launch at scale. She advised startups on product-market fit and built an ecosystem to source, negotiate, and structure development agreements between large consumer companies and early-stage technology startups.

As a graduate of Stanford University’s Applied Compassion Academy, Breana is passionate about showing that compassion is the best business tool for business leaders.
