Jacopo Destro

Jacopo Destro has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Jacopo began their career at Withersworldwide, where they worked in Corporate M&A from 2013 to 2014. Jacopo then moved to BART for a brief period in 2015, working in the Office of the General Counsel. Following that, they returned to Withersworldwide as a Corporate M&A professional from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Clifford Chance, specializing in M&A, and worked there until 2017. Afterward, they worked at Hogan Lovells in the finance department from 2017 to 2019. Jacopo's venture capital career began in 2019 at Redstone, a Berlin-based firm, where they acted as a VC Investor until 2022. Jacopo then transitioned to Future Industry Ventures, serving as a VC investor from 2020 until November 2022. Currently, they are employed as the Vice President - Venture Capital at Alantra. In this role, they have made investments in companies like Mundimoto.com, V2C (v2charge.com), and Recomotor.

Jacopo Destro holds a Master's Degree in Corporate, Finance, VC, and Securities regulation from the University of California, Berkeley. Jacopo also pursued the International Thesis Scholarship Program as an international researcher at the University of Chicago, specializing in Banking, Corporate Governance, Finance, and Securities Law. Additionally, Jacopo obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Jacopo is also registered as an attorney in the State of New York, having been admitted to the New York State Bar.
