Carlos Gutierrez

Carlos Gutierrez has over 14 years of work experience in the alarm industry. Carlos started their career at SIMS, Inc as a Technical Support Specialist, providing assistance to customers and contributing to sales growth. In 2013, they joined Alarm.com as a Global Sales Engineer, focusing on account and revenue growth, as well as providing technical expertise to the sales team. In 2016, they became a Strategic Account Manager, responsible for key international accounts and developing solutions to align with customer needs. Currently, they serve as the Director of Technical Account Management for LATAM & Iberia at Alarm.com, overseeing a team of ten members and managing key accounts in the region.

Carlos Gutierrez obtained their B.S. in Electronics Engineering from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito between 1997 and 2002. Carlos has also earned additional certifications in Computer Science for Artificial Intelligence and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python from edX in 2023. In 2022, they obtained a verified certificate in Introduction to Computer Science from edX.
