Colin Ulen

Colin Ulen has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Colin started their career in 2004 as the Captain of Dartmouth Formula Racing. In 2006, they joined Alarm.com as the Director of Engineering, Hardware, where they were responsible for the design and production of hardware products. Colin worked closely with the executive team to set the direction and priority of Alarm.com's hardware efforts. In 2020, Colin transitioned to the role of Senior Director of Engineering at Alarm.com. In 2007, they also served as the Chief Architect of Youcastr, Inc., where they focused on systems design, programming, and ensuring stability and scalability of all systems. Colin was the first employee at Youcastr and remained there until 2010. These experiences showcase Colin's expertise in engineering, leadership, and innovation.

Colin Ulen completed their high school education at St. Johns Prep from 1996 to 2000. Colin then attended Syracuse University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering at Dartmouth College.
