Joel Loeshelle

Joel Loeshelle has a diverse work experience. Joel started their career at Capital IQ as a Software Engineering Intern, where they developed two web controls and integrated Google Protobuf responses into existing Test Harness classes. Joel then joined Alarm.com, initially working as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on iOS development. After that, they became the Lead Software Engineer and People Manager of the Alarm.com iOS team. In their most recent role, Joel served as the Manager and Director of Software Engineering, overseeing the core architecture and developer experience for the Backend, Mobile, and Web Platforms at Alarm.com.

Joel Loeshelle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia from 2008 to 2012. Their field of study focused on Engineering and Computer Science.
