Mike Shanahan

Mike Shanahan currently serves as the Manager of External Reporting & Technical Accounting at Alaska Airlines, a position held since December 2021. Prior to this role, Mike Shanahan worked at EY from August 2016 to November 2021, progressing from Assurance Staff to Assurance Senior and then to Assurance Manager. Academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Business 101 Section Leader at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign between August 2013 and May 2016. Mike Shanahan holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, both obtained from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
