Rob Bendall

Rob Bendall is an experienced airline pilot and check airman with a robust background in commercial aviation. Currently serving as a B737NG/Max Captain at Alaska Airlines since April 2016, Rob was previously with Virgin America, where Rob held the position of A321neo/A320/A319 System Chief Pilot and was part of the startup certification team from April 2006 to April 2016. Earlier in Rob's career, Rob worked with Alliance Aircraft/International Flight Test Group as Chief Check Airman and Flight Test Pilot, overseeing complex cases and liaising with multiple startup airlines. Rob has also held captain and check airman roles at Ryan International Airlines, Air Jamaica, and Great American Airways, with a focus on training, safety, and operational excellence. Rob's academic background includes an A&P Tech program in Aeronautics from the Jones Institute of Aeronautics.
