Elizabeth Francis is a dedicated nursing professional currently serving as a Clinical Intern in Psychiatric Mental Health at Alaska Behavioral Health and as a Psychiatric Float Pool RN at Children's Mercy Kansas City since April 2023. Elizabeth also holds the position of Charge Nurse at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center. Experience includes a role as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Citizens Memorial from July 2020 to May 2023 and previous nursing positions at Eustasis Psychiatric & Addiction Health and Ozarks Healthcare, where a travel nursing contract was completed. In addition, Elizabeth contributed to NP Student Magazine as both a Contributing Writer and Editor in Chief from January 2021 to January 2023. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Nursing Practice focused on Psychiatric Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cox College. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Student Nurses’ Association at Cox College.
