Jessica Cochran has a diverse work experience in the mental health and media industries. Jessica started their career at Alaska Public Radio Network in 1996 where they worked as a producer for the show "AK" until 2008. In 2009, they joined Content Producers Guild as an independent audio producer until 2014. In 2014, they became the Executive Coordinator at Alaska Behavioral Health (formerly Anchorage Community Mental Health Services, Inc.) and later transitioned into the role of Director of Community Relations in 2018.

Jessica Cochran attended Macalester College from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology.
