Barbara Pignataro

Barbara Pignataro has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Barbara has worked at Alaska Communications since 2011, where they started as a Project Manager and later became the Sr. Manager of the Program Management Office (PMO). In this role, they defined project management standards and trained staff. Barbara also worked as a Sr. Program Manager, overseeing strategic planning and capital management. Currently, Barbara holds the position of Director of Treasury and FP&A.

Before joining Alaska Communications, Barbara worked at Matanuska Telephone Association as a Project Manager II, where they managed enterprise-wide projects and aligned resources with the organization's strategic goals.

At Verizon, Barbara served as a Project Manager and member of the technical staff for eight years. Barbara managed the full software development life cycle of multiple technical systems, with budgets exceeding $8 million. Barbara also negotiated pricing and served as a liaison between vendors and the company.

Throughout their career, Barbara has demonstrated expertise in project management, strategic planning, and financial analysis.

Barbara Pignataro has pursued their education in the field of Computer Graphics and Animation at Pratt Institute.
