Eric West

Eric West is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network infrastructure maintenance and technical support. Currently serving as a North Slope Technician II at Alaska Communications since May 2014, Eric specializes in maintaining ConocoPhillips' OSP/ISP infrastructure, including microwave transmission lines and fiber networks, while adhering to high safety standards. Previous roles include Data Technician at Alaska Communications, where responsibilities included troubleshooting network equipment and providing field support, as well as data technician positions at Matanuska Telephone Association and ICE Services. Eric has also held technical roles at Southwestern Bell/AT&T, where expertise ranged from diagnosing alarm conditions in various networks to managing technical support for customer issues. Eric holds both North Slope Training Co-operative safety and medical cards and demonstrates a proven ability to perform in adverse conditions.
