Mike Strand

Mike joined AHFC in 2001, and previously served as senior finance officer, finance officer and financial analyst. As CFO/Finance Director, Mike manages the financial activities to ensure business operations can be continued, its assets properly maintained and its credit positively upheld.

After graduating from the University of Alaska Anchorage with Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in finance and economics, Mike served as a budget analyst for Anchorage Municipal Light and Power and as a financial analyst for VECO Alaska.

Originally from Anchorage, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, hunting, fishing and playing hockey. He is passionate about coaching elite youth hockey.
