Sherry Lau

Sherry Lau has extensive experience in the accounting and housing sectors, currently serving as an Accountant II at the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) since September 2011, where responsibilities have included reviewing employee reimbursement requests and processing vendor invoices. Prior roles at AHFC as a Housing Program Specialist II and I involved ensuring compliance with HUD standards through accurate client rent calculations and conducting annual reexaminations. Earlier experience at Pac Rim Properties as an Assistant Manager included customer service, tenant complaint resolution, and performing low-income certifications for HUD programs. Sherry Lau holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage, earned between 2007 and 2014.
