Amanda Setiawan

Amanda Setiawan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amanda is currently a co-owner at Sunstone Electric, LLC, a role they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, Amanda worked at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) from December 2018. During their time at ANTHC, Amanda served as a Mechanical Engineer I, conducting energy assessments and performing installations to reduce utility costs in rural Alaskan villages. Amanda also worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA for the Rural Energy Initiative from July 2018 to December 2018. Before their role at ANTHC, Amanda was employed as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office from June 2016 to December 2017. Amanda has also gained research experience, serving as a Research Assistant at Polytechnic Institute of New York University from May 2013 to January 2014 and from May 2012 to August 2013. Additionally, they worked as an INSPIRE Intern at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) in the summer of 2009.

Amanda Setiawan earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, completing their degree from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers in February 2022.
